This How To video is all about replacing bridle lines on Ozone Depower foil kites. This includes snowkites and also the closed cell kites like the Chrono.

Unfold your kite, lay out and clear the bridle lines and speed systems. Have the bridle line you need to change ready.

Opening the speed systems:

undo the front flying line from the pigtail

undo the pigtail from the speed system lines

Pull out the line of the pulley that’s closest towards the bar (C-Pulley)

Undo the next line of the speed system

Remove the line that runs through the B pulley (pulley closest to the kite)

Undo the lines that are attached to the pulleys from the actual bridle lines
Depending on the bridle lines you have to change – only open the correspondent bridle level A, B or C

removing the B pulley

Once the speed system is removed you have full access to the bridle.

keep undoing the bridle lines till you get to the line you want to change

change the affected line. Make sure to remember the line order.
In case you mess up use opposite kite side to copy from

putting the bridle back together

Reconnecting the A bridles to the speedsytem…

The B bridles to the B pulley…

the C bridle to the C pulley…

take the 2nd line of the C pulley and pull it through the B pulley…

…its end and the A line end get connected together

take the last open line that is still connected to the back flying line and pull it’s other end through the C pulley

the two open ends get connected together with the pigtail

attach the flying line to the pigtail and you are set.
