We headed down to Poole on Saturday to support Chris and his team at Poseidon Kite School with their Spring Session. The event was all about kicking off the season, so despite the lack of wind forecast there was still a good turn out. We had the latest Ozone range on display including the new EDGE V9. There was refresher talks covering the basics and some safety demonstrations. After that it was about gear maintainance and checking over equipment. First a demonstration on things to look out for, then everyone invited to get their own gear out and check it over.

As this wound down the BBQ was just about ready – food for 80 disappeared in no time! Everyone was enjoying the glorious sunshine and catching up with kite buddies without the stress of getting in and out of the water. A successful day!

Late in the afternoon a gentle breeze kicked in on the seafront. Not enough for a twintip but certainly enough for a foil session. We threw on wetsuits and grabbed our stuff, walked round to the seafront and had the best foiling session in a long time. The sunset was so good I had to grab the drone and camera and get some shots!
