Jamie has been going from strength to strength recently with his 2nd place at King of the Air, his Woo record and now another podium at Lords of Tram. Being so young, Jamie does not enter that many competitions yet, but he is always a force to be reckoned with knocking out seasoned pros and showing he is up there with the best in the World.
For this event, just like at Kota, Jamie chose a combination of the EDGE V11 7m, Code V3 132 and Enduro V4 5m.
The EDGE gives him huge height – allowing him to consistently be one of the riders jumping highest throughout the competition. Its loops are powerful and impressive.
The Code is perfect according to Jamie. It is exactly the style of board he likes – it has the right mix of performance and ease of use allowing him to land smoothly and manage his speed when coming down fast in rough seas.
The Enduro comes into play when it is really windy and double loops are an essential part of the competition. This is the cutting edge of big air kiteboarding.
