The Chrono proved itself to be a game changer in the race scene and during the development of its successor all kinds of prototypes were created and tested. One proved to be too good not to develop further. This kite had a higher aspect ratio and a lot of extra cells. Performance was incredible. After a lot of discussion it was decided there was room for 2 high performance foils in the range – one dedicated to pure performance – an all out race kite. This became the Ozone R1.

No expense has been spared and no compromise has been made – the R1 is designed to win races. Is it expensive? Sure it is. It is also incredibly fast, stable and performs like nothing else out there. If you are into racing – this is the kite for you.
